My recent portrait of Mahatma Gandhi, the Indian leader of the non violentent resistance against British colonial rule and a pioneer of civil disobedience.
The background is of a spinning wheel which became an important symbol, eventually being incorporated into the Indian flag, due to his advocating people to spin and weave their own garments, rather than buy from British controlled industry.
NB the watermark text does not appear on the print.
